Mrs. Clark’s 7th Grade Bible Class Discusses:

One Among Many

The Just-Another-Great-Book Myth

This weeks chapter, One Among Many, explains how people think of the Bible as just another book.

The writers use the example of a professor who keeps his dusty, unused Bible, just sitting along his shelves with some of his other works of literature. He treats the Bible just like any unimportant novel, not giving it any superiority above the others.

We often take the Bible for granted, claiming it to be just another good book, but this is a myth.

The Bible is way more than just another story.

The Bible tells the true story of our Savior and Lord, and that is better than any other book you could find on a shelf.

Isaiah 40:8 states: “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”

Emma, age 13

All other books and stories will fade as time passes,

but the Bible will always be a part of this world.

  • Can anyone prove His resurrection?
  • What does that have to do with me?
