In Memory of John Crone (1937-2020)

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear friend John Crone, Vice President at Large. John celebrated 50 years of ministry with Cru and 60 years of faithful marriage with his wife Linda. God blessed John with 83 years of life on earth, and now an eternity of life in Heaven.
Having dedicated their lives to sharing the gospel, John and Linda coordinated the translation, printing, and distribution of over 40 million Christian books in over 100 countries around the world, including many hard-to-reach areas throughout North Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Josh shared, “One can say that the world is a better place and the great commission is more fulfilled because John & Linda Crone were faithful in the harvest.”
Although we are saddened by the loss of such an extraordinary life, we can only imagine the rejoicing as Heaven welcomes John home with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
