Mrs. Clark’s 7th Grade Bible Class Discusses:
The Bible and the Telephone Game
The Variant Reading Myth

The Bible is the most reliable source in the world. It is translated into almost every language, too.
The Bible is commonly thought to have errors just as the telephone game works. One person whispers something into the ear of the person next to them, they then tell it to the people next to them and so on and so forth until it comes back in a circle to the person who said the beginning words. Often the quote is different from how it was in the start of the game. Now that you understand the supposed connection a little bit let’s talk about the Bible side.
People believe that the Bible has errors because it is translated.
Now the copies of the Bible do have a few grammatical errors but it still is understandable. The Bible is translated letter by letter from Hebrew and Greek, so it is incredibly precise but grammar in other languages isn’t the same as English so it looks off to us but I assure you it is not.
So overall this myth is simply debunked because of the lack of knowledge and not knowing how they translate the Bible

Ever heard of precision?…
Well the Bible is translated letter by letter.
How’s that for precision?
Know what you believe…and why you believe it.
- Does it really matter what you believe, as long as you have faith?
- Are there errors in the Bible?
- Was Jesus just a good teacher?
- Can anyone prove His resurrection?
- What does that have to do with me?
